FDM printing is the most popular and versatile form of 3D printing available today. At CurrentMakerTech we use our Snapmaker U1 to produce high quality FDM prints in a range of materials including PLA, PETG, and TPU. Whether you need a single prototype or a small batch of identical parts, FDM printing is a fast and cost effective solution. Simply upload your file, choose your material, and we handle everything else from print to delivery.

What is FDM Printing?

FDM stands for Fused Deposition Modelling. It works by melting a filament material and depositing it layer by layer to build up a three dimensional object. It is the most widely used form of 3D printing in the world because it is fast, affordable, and capable of producing strong and detailed parts across a huge range of applications. At Current Maker Tech we use the Snapmaker U1 which gives us precise control over every aspect of the print including temperature, speed, layer height, and infill density.

What Can FDM Printing Be Used For?

FDM printing is incredibly versatile. Common uses include functional parts and mechanical components, replacement parts for appliances and equipment, enclosures and cases for electronics, prototypes and product concepts, hobbyist and gaming accessories, custom tools and jigs, personalised gifts and decorative items, and architectural or engineering models. If you can design it or describe it, there is a very good chance we can print it. Get in touch to discuss your project and we will let you know what is possible.

All FDM prints from CurrentMakerTech are inspected before they ship. We check for layer adhesion, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality. If a print does not meet our standards we reprint it before it ever goes in the box. Your satisfaction is our priority on every single order regardless of size.
